Yesterday, 12th July 2008 we had Asif’s costume birthday party. If you’re wondering which one is him, he is the one with Sportacus costume. In fact, his birthday was actually on 30th June but the date fell on week day so we decided to give him a rain check on his birthday party. It was fabulous and fantastic. Everyone came with their own costume as you can see in the video.
Watching these kids having fun really bring my thought to my childhood. It reminds me how wonderful to be a kid. Everyone thinks the same I reckon. Wishing that we could be a kid again. There’s nothing to think, worry and no issue about everything. All you want is to play and play. However, I’m wishing that everyone is well and perfect. Especially to Asif, HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY!!
Thanks very much for tuning in and have a nice day everybody!
What a lovely week. It is so different when the sun goes up high in the sky. It looks like the spring season goes well at the moment. As a Malaysian, I am absolutely not a fan of the sun but being in the bloody cold country like here in England, it really makes me want to go out and lie down on the grass under the sunlight! So, the moral of the story is, if you want to appreciate the sun more, do come here. Ahahaha.
And some of the pix to share while having fun at Thames Barrier Park.
Oh by the way, if you notice the kids’s clothes are different, that’s because we were there yesterday and came back again today! Hahaha. We begin to like this park! It’s close to our place anyway. Hope you enjoyed your stay and thanks for viewing the photos. Cheers.
Nothing much this time. Just another photos of my nephew, Asif Abbas. I was kind of bored when I got home. Saw him playing with the laptop so decided to take a few shots. I’m still learning how to make great composition. Sometimes it drives me crazy thinking why my photos always look “cheap”… if you know what I mean. Anyway, thanks very much for viewing. Cheers.
Can’t think of anything to write at the moment. This is what happened when you stop writing for long time. Your brain also stops working at the same time LOL. By the way, I have got a few photos to show off this time. Fortunately, it was snowing three days ago and I got really excited since this was my second time experiencing snow. It’s been a while I wanted to take pictures in snow and I made it eventually. Even though it is officially Spring already in here but we still got snow apparently. Strange isn’t it? Who cares anyway. Hope you like the photos. Cheers.
When I first saw comments from a friend of mine Imam, I did not realize that was actually a tag from him. I thought it was just ordinary comments until I read the second one saying that I’ve been tagged!! Hmm, how dare he tags me! Hehe, I’m just joking. To be honest, I never got tagged before so, I’m interested enough to tag people back and also this is my opportunity to get to know and understand clearly what is actually TAG mean, because to be honest I have heard about tagging people everywhere. Even on YouTube they tag each other as well. So now I got tagged and “thank you” very much for tagging me because now I have to sit down and think again what am I going to write about 8 random facts about me. Hmmm… it takes me ages to think about it.
Before that, let me just tell the rules of tagging in a nutshell.
The Rules:
Link to your tagger and post these rules.
List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
Tag eight (8) people at the end of this post and list their names.
Let them know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogs.
Okay, now let the 8 facts begin!
Eight (8) Facts About Me:
I cannot work in the office especially sitting in front of a computer for long hours doing same thing over and over (photo editing is exceptional) otherwise, I will fall asleep with my head on the keyboard. I’m not joking. It happened a few times already, haha.
I cannot think of any jobs that suit me other than photography. Just give me anything related to photography, I will be happy.
I am so indecisive even when it comes to the simplest thing like, “Where are we going to have lunch today?”
Yes, I’m a jealous person. I think so… (See, I told you just now. I can’t decide whether or not I’m a jelous person LOL!).
I listen to almost every single type of music as long as it doesn’t hurt my ears. I even listen to keroncong songs (a kind of traditional malay music).
I’m an Apple fan (but I’m using PC and the moment).
I could spend hours just looking at videos on YouTube, unconsciously.
When I was in a primary school, I used to hate people or teachers or friends or whoever call me Faris Fakri. Why? I don’t know why. I just hate it. Why they have to call my full name? Why can’t they just call me Faris? (even though my full name Mohd Faris Bin Fakri). Like… “Faris Fakri, where are you going?”, “Can I borrow your pencil Faris Fakri?”, “Have you done your homework Faris Fakri?”. But not anymore. I’m used to it now. And you know what? I just realized while writing this.. even my website’s name Faris Fakri, hahaha.
So, now you have eight (8) facts about myself. Hopefully you enjoy your stay, and before I end it, here are a list of eight (8) people I am tagging.
Finally, I got you all now! Those are eight (8) people I am tagging. I’m not sure whether or not these folks had been tagged but just bare in mind, for those of you (listed above) who already got tagged previously can ignore this and could you please leave a link to where you state facts about yourself. For those who haven’t, YOU ARE NOW TAGGED!!! Muahahahaha!!
