Hahahahahahahaha! Okay, take a look at the dictionary photo above closely. Did you spot anything? Hahahaha. I cannot stop laughing! It is just so bloody funny. Are you sure you did not spot anything? Okay, let me tell you. I have mistakenly bought wrong dictionary!!! Take a look again. That is English - Polish dictionary!!! Hahahahaha. No wonder why I found funny words inside when I opened it last night. I did not realize when I was buying. Just grabbed it and paid straight away without looking at it first. I was about to sleep when I noticed it and could not stop laughing. Oh dear…

Sunday morning was so fine as I woke up from bed. As usual, no plan for the weekend. In fact, I rarely go anywhere but stay at home over the weekend. I should have gone to Central London or just go out for some photographs today considering the weather was so fine. Yea I know, things will never happen if you just talk. You just gotta do it! No, not you.. ME!! Yes, ME! Usually, my niece and nephews will come into my room to wake their uncle’s up from the bed but normally their uncle tends to ignore those noise LOL. Pull the blanket and continuing sleeping! But not today because I already woke up before they came in haha. So, while Asif and Ashman “lepak-lepak” playing games in my room, I took this opportunity to capture some pictures of theirs while they carried away with their Nintendo DS. Ashman just bought a new hat. Look, even the tag is still hanging on his hat.

Nowadays, these kids are so computer-literate. Not like me. I literally knew computers when I was 15. So, while I was taking pictures I was quite surprised when 5 and a half-year old Asif, was having a good time watching his favourite movie Transformer on YouTube. I was stunned for a little while where in the world he knows such a place like YouTube. I mean, what do you expect from a little 5 1/2 years old boy. He even surprised me again when he asked me where can he play Transformer online game. I said I don’t know then he immediately typed google dot com and they keywords and he found it! Can’t believe he even knows how to google. He is bloody brilliant.

Asif and Ashman were having so much fun using Uncle Ris PC ya? Yea I know it is rather tough to persuade his uncle to use the PC even for a few minutes. Uncle Ris’s PC has got too many adults stuff. That’s why I can’t let you boys play my PC LOL! Just kidding!!! By the way, that headphone doesn’t fit you Asif. Perhaps I should consider buying a speaker. Yeah, I shall get one soon. Better sound quality.

I reckon I’m getting closer with my camera now LOL. An intimate mixture I would say haha. Well, actually I never satistified with my pictures since I bought my camera November last year. I was a bit frustrated at first when I saw the result. Seriously, I felt regret. I failed to control the right exposure to get the picture I wanted and for that, I gave up for a quite sometime. Then, I started questioning myself, why other people out there still can produce great pictures even though they have not got expensive tools? So, the problem is not my camera. It is me who actually hasn’t got enough knowledge to fully utilize my own tool. Today, I was so happy to see the result because I eventually managed to get the pictures I wanted. What I’m trying to say is, now I know how to control and use my camera wisely. Hence, the moral of this story is you can’t give up easily. You just have to try and try and never stop experimenting till you get the end result that you wanted. Sometimes you find it a bit tough in early stage but it gets easier as you go through and understand it and eventually you will find what you’ve been looking for.

And you know what? Most of these pix are non-edited. They all come straight from the camera. I’m not showing off or saying that I don’t need any editing for those pix. Just that, I’m so pleased with the result and it comes out great fortunately. However, if you think the result is rubbish, then I “syok sendiri lah” hahaha.

The rest are the photos taken today. Some were taken while in the car to Bluewater, Kent.

Credit to my brother for this photo. Thanks very much.
Thanks a lot folks for reading and viewing. Really appreciate. Till then. I’m signing out.
P.S: Will post some photos from Alhambra, Spain in the next entry insya’allah. So, stay tuned!

Faris

This is the hardest decision to make. If I’m not on a tight budget, I would have bought these two items simultaneously. At the moment, I have two lenses and they are kit lense 17-85mm and 50mm f/1.8. Recently, I just realized how important to have a flashgun when I had to take pictures indoor where the light was not sufficient if I only use ordinary lense (extraordinary lense would be with bigger aperture such as f/2.8 or f/1.8 or f/1.4). So, I come to conclusion that I must have a flashgun and perhaps I should also consider the remote trigger for flash as well. That is just an additional item actually. If I can’t afford it for the time being, I shall get it later.
On the other hand, lense is also an item that should be considered as well. I have done a “survey” recently by asking a few of my friends who are photographers to give their thoughts of which one should I buy or which is the most important. Majority say I should buy lense first. The lense I’m talking about is a zoom lense 70-200mm L USM f/2.8. They say lense is an essential gear and therefore, I must have that prior to flashgun.
Well, when I think back, they might be right. Nevertheless, I always remember no matter what equipment you use, you still can produce good images if you are really good. I’m not saying you can produce good quality images by just using camera phone but the most important thing is to be creative and enable to attract people to look at our photographs.
